Task 5 Exhibition Poster

This poster is an exhibition piece that is displayed at the National Portrait Gallery.
The layout for this poster is that the picture of the women is main focus of the poster as it is directed exactly in the middle with the text showing above and below. The portrait of this poster is a black and white photo but it is very consistent throughout the poster as the text around the portrait is very simple but effective. Irving Penns' portraits always show a certain depth and feelings within his work and the poster demonstrates this even that it has got text surrounding the image.
The colour and the weight of the font works well for the poster as it has used the colours of white and green which is very simple but it is done effectively.

This poster is an exhibition piece that is displayed at place called ''Urban Picnic''. The layout for this poster has got a different layout compared to one above as the image is faded in instead of it just being in a straight, fitted box.
The picture of this poster is in black and white and I think it works well as it all seems to blend to together but it wasn't in black and white then I don't think it would work as well as it does right now.
The colour and the weight of the text works effectively as it's nothing to extravagant but it suits the theme.
